Emily Brannen
Emily Brannen has served as the Vice President of Digital & Service Strategy at Blue Cross NC since June 2021. Prior to this role, Emily held several influential positions at First Citizens Bank from October 2014 to May 2021, including Senior Vice President and Digital Channels Strategy Manager, as well as Senior Vice President and Alternate Delivery Channel Manager at First Citizens Bank & Trust of South Carolina from April 2012 to October 2014. Previous experience includes an Account Director role at Cyberwoven and serving as Senior Vice President, Director of IT Governance and Communication at The South Financial Group, where significant contributions to the TD Bank integration were made. Earlier career experiences also include a directorial position with the American Heart Association focused on the Midlands Heart Walk. Emily holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Trade from Clemson University.

Patrick Murta is a seasoned healthcare IT executive with over 25 years of experience driving innovation in interoperability, AI, and clinical workflow platforms. He currently serves as Vice President of IT at Centene, focusing on AI, interoperability, and clinical workflow systems. Prior to Centene, Patrick was Chief Technology Officer at RealizedCare, a digital therapeutics company leveraging AI and virtual reality for behavioral health, and spent more than two decades at Humana, where he served as Chief Interoperability Architect and Fellow. His expertise spans enterprise-scale solutions, including HIPAA X12 implementations, interoperability platforms, EDI gateways, health information exchanges (HIEs), case and utilization management platforms, predictive models, and bi-directional payer-EHR integration. Patrick was also part of a CIO 100 Award-winning team in 2020 and remains committed to advancing patient-centered innovation across the healthcare ecosystem.

Elected to the American Medical Association Board of Trustees in June 2022, Marilyn J. Heine, MD, is an emergency medicine and hematology oncology physician in southeast Pennsylvania and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Heine represents the AMA on the board of the CAQH Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange and the Da Vinci Project Clinical Advisory Council. Acclaimed for her accomplishments in health policy and advocacy, Dr. Heine has received many accolades including the PACEP David Blunk Award for Outstanding Contribution to Emergency Medicine, the inaugural AMPAC Award for Political Participation, the AMA Women Physicians Section Inspiration Award, and the ACEP Colin C. Rorrie, Jr., PhD Award for Excellence in Health Policy.

Linda A. Reed serves as Senior Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson New Jersey. Ms. Reed has been with SJH since February of 2016. Prior to that Ms. Reed was with Atlantic Health System and Virtua Health, two of New Jersey’s largest health systems, serving in a variety of roles including Vice President and CIO. Ms. Reed has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. a Master of Science in nursing with distinction from Pace University in Peekskill, NY, and a Master of Business Administration from Widener University in Chester, PA. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Nursing Honor Society and Sigma Beta Delta, National Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration.

She has worked extensively in patient access transformation, regulatory compliance, price transparency, and system conversions to fully integrated revenue cycle platforms, among other areas. Prior to joining ADMI, she worked at OhioHealth and is also a member of the HFMA National Board of Directors.

John Williford
John Williford
John Williford is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the CMO, where he is responsible for the design, implementation, process improvement and business scalability of approximately $2.9 billion in value-based and population health contracts. Mr. Williford led the effort to achieve three-year, unconditional National Committee for Quality Assurance accreditation for three key clinical programs. He has also played a key role in overall health system integration, including improvement of hospital throughput as well as operationalizing key specialty areas such as end-stage renal disease/chronic kidney disease, infectious diseases, behavioral health, orthopedics, oncology and the Department of Medicine. Prior to joining Montefiore, he was executive director of a New York health plan with Medicare Advantage, managed long-term care and Fully Integrated Duals Advantage lines of business. Previously, he worked for several large consulting firms, focusing on payor and provider strategy development and operational improvements. Mr. Williford holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Paul joined athenahealth as our Chief Product Officer in September 2019, with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare information space. Paul joined us from PatientKeeper, a provider of software applications that optimize physician and practice workflows, which he led as CEO through much of its nearly 20-year history. Prior to joining PatientKeeper in 2002, Paul held senior executive-level positions at leading healthcare and consulting firms including McKesson Corporation, HPR, and The Boston Consulting Group. He began his healthcare IT career as the founder and president of BCS, an early physician office management software company. Paul received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Princeton University.

As Chief Product Officer, Brendan Crotty drives product strategy, innovation, and delivery for J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments. Brendan oversees the product roadmap, maintenance, and launch efforts for all of the Healthcare Payment products, is responsible for product data and analytics, and manages all strategic partnerships with other healthcare IT systems. Brendan’s long tenure within the InstaMed product organization, combined with his expertise in the healthcare ecosystem, fuels the innovation and problem-solving that the healthcare payments market needs. Brendan has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
