CAQH CORE Welcomes Two New Board Members

CAQH CORE is pleased to announce that it has welcomed two new members to its board:

• Kevin Mulcahy, Senior Director, Payer Relations, Special Billing & Provider Enrollment at Massachusetts General Physician Organization, part of Partners HealthCare, who will replace Dr. Susan Turney, CEO at Marshfield Clinic Health System in the MGMA-proposed seat.
• Achudhan (Achu) Sivakumar, Software Development Product Lead – Referrals and Authorizations at Epic, who will replace Sreevinas (Vasu) Pasumarthi, Software Development Group Lead - Registration, Eligibility, Referrals & Authorizations in the Epic seat.

Established in 2005, CAQH CORE is a collaboration of more than 120 organizations – providers, health plans, vendors, government agencies and standard-setting bodies – developing operating rules to simplify healthcare administrative transactions. These groups include health plans representing more than 75 percent of commercially insured lives, plus Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.

The CAQH CORE Board includes 13 voting members from provider organizations, health plans and vendor/clearinghouses. The Board also includes non-voting members and non-voting advisors representing government entities and standards development organizations.
