CAQH at the 2024 NOPLG Conference
The National Other Party Liability Group (NOPLG) is an organization of professionals who manage Other Party Liability (OPL) activities in Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Plans across the nation. NOPLG's annual educational seminars are open to BCBS employees, BCBS subsidiary employees and BCBS OPL contractors. NOPLG brings together participants for workshops, networking, and discussion of issues involving Coordination of Benefits, Subrogation, Workers' Compensation, Medicare Secondary Payer, OPL Management and Overpayment Identification and Recovery.
During the conference, on Wednesday, April 10th from 2:45 - 4:00 pm join Rebecca Beattie, Director, Product Management, CAQH and Mitzi Charlton, Team Lead: COB Claims, Premera Blue Cross as they present "A Collaborative Approach to COB: The Importance of Data Sharing and Communication Across Health Plans".
This presentation will cover the importance of health plan collaboration and data sharing to effectively coordinate benefits. It will focus on how these efforts can lead to improved outcomes, enhanced member and provider satisfaction, and the prevention of overpayments as access to prospective and accurate COB data sets the foundation for a higher standard of payment integrity.
